Vivekananda Social Welfare TrustIndependence Day Celebration
Every year, on the 15th of August, we celebrate India’s Independence Day with great fervor. It’s a day of pride and unity as we honor the nation’s freedom fighters. At Vivekananda Social Welfare Trust, this day is not just about flag hoisting; it’s about instilling a sense of patriotism in the hearts of the children we serve. We organize special events, cultural programs, and motivational talks to inspire them to be responsible citizens who contribute to the country’s progress.
Winter Clothes Distribution
With the chilly winter approaching, our focus turns to ensuring the comfort and warmth of the underprivileged. On the 12th of January, we kickstart our Winter Clothes Distribution drive. This initiative provides cozy winter attire to those in need, ensuring they stay warm during the coldest months. It’s an act of compassion that spreads smiles and shields vulnerable individuals from the harshness of winter.
Durga Puja New Clothes Distribution
During Durga Puja, a time of celebration and joy, we extend our hands to make it even more special for the less fortunate. Our Durga Puja New Clothes Distribution program ensures that children from disadvantaged backgrounds have brand-new attire to wear during this festive season. It’s a small gesture that brings immense happiness and confidence to these young souls.
Vivekananda’s Day of Demise
Looking ahead, we plan to honor the memory of Swami Vivekananda on the 4th of July, his day of demise. This day will be a tribute to his ideals and teachings, emphasizing the values of inclusivity, empowerment, and education for all. Through various activities and events, we aim to keep his legacy alive and inspire generations to come.
Basanta Utsav Celebration
As spring approaches, we eagerly anticipate the Basanta Utsav (Spring Festival). In the future, we plan to celebrate this vibrant festival with the children we support. It will be a day of colors, music, and joy as we come together to welcome the season of renewal and hope. This event will not only bring smiles but also foster a sense of togetherness and happiness among the children.
